Pristine Waters in the Heart of the Pewsey Vale

Manningford Trout Fishery is set in the heart of the Pewsey Vale and consists of a well stocked 4.5 acre lake for rainbow trout and one smaller lake for catch and release brown trout fishing. Fed by the pristine waters of the Avon, Manningford is one of Wiltshire’s best known fisheries.

For experts, the location and hard-fighting rainbows will prove enticing. For the novice, there is the opportunity to receive coaching from a qualified instructor.

Our facilities include a brand new fishing lodge where you can take a break and relax, a picnic area, toilets, hand-washing facilities and a large car park. Social fishermen can even enjoy an excellent pub lunch in the nearby Woodbridge Inn.

Why Not Consider Holding a Corporate Event at Manningford?

Whether it is a family day out, or a quiet day’s fishing, Manningford Trout Fishery has something to offer each and every fly fisherman.

In 2007 the lake was extensively de-silted and the water is now much deeper around the islands and on the far side away from the lodge. The fish are enjoying the greater depth and there are some very big Brown trout benefiting from the increased space.
